Jose Abkar (CPA)

Jose Abkar has eight (8) years of audit and accounting experience all served at reputable multinational firms. Jose currently holds the position of a senior auditor at Ernst and Young, Beirut office, one of the big four (4) audit firms. At Ernst and Young, Jose leads and coordinates the planning and fieldwork of audit assignments while overseeing the work of the team members. Jose has a diverse experience within several industries including banking, health care, hotels and entertainment, mailing, real estate and cement manufacturing

Prior to that, Jose has worked for almost four (4) years at Bliss Express in South Dartmouth as a senior accountant and then moved to Ernst and Young, London office.

Jose holds a masters of professional accountancy from Bryant University, Smithfield, a bachelor of science in business administration with double concentration in accounting and economics from Bryant University, Smithfield and an associate degree in business transfer from Bristol Community College, Fall River. In addition, Jose is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA, the US Board of Accountancy in New Hampshire)
