Rabih Estatieh (MBA, CPA)

Biography

Rabih Estatieh has fifteen (15) years of audit, advisory, controller-ship and commercial finance experience all served at reputable multinational firms. Rabih currently holds the position of a Finance Director for the MENA business at Diageo, the world’s largest serving beverage company in the world. Rabih has led several critical projects across the MENA area which contributed to his promotion to a Director back in  year 2013

Prior to that, Rabih served a bit less than four (4) years with Eli Lilly, a major multinational pharma company, as a regional financial controller managing the accounting, reporting and internal controls agenda. In his role, Rabih led new systems implementations with an organizational change model, oversight on policies and procedures and more importantly, transforming a manufacturing affiliate into a well-structured business that defines best practices when it comes to processes and controls

Rabih started his career with Ernst & Young (Lebanon) and moved to the Toronto office after a four (4) year stint with the Beirut office as an audit manager. Within his two (2) year period at the Toronto office, Rabih managed to lead the audit of the corporate business for the 3rd largest bank in Canada. He also led several significant projects that included transition from Canadian GAAP to IFRS, Sarbanes Oxley audits, as well as asset management audits. During his six (6) year audit tenure with Ernst & Young, Rabih was exposed to a variety of different industries that included construction companies, telecom service providers, banks, insurance companies as well as many others. Rabih also served 1 year with Deloitte prior to moving to Eli Lilly

During his fifteen (15) year experience, Rabih has won several awards for his performance. He is also currently a part time instructor for audit and accounting (including IFRS) courses at USEK for the past eight (8) years

Rabih holds a bachelor of business administration from the American University of Beirut as well as a Masters degree from the United States and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA, the US Board of Accountancy in New Hampshire)
